Earlier today I was working on a blog post and needed to find one of my old posts to link to, so I used a little tip I learned some years back to find it quickly. It occurred to me that you, dear Reader, may also find this tip useful as you surf the world wide web. Come closer and I’ll share the secret of how to find something fast on any website.
Let’s say, for example, that you remember a funny post that BooMama wrote. It was a post about a monkey that she wrote some years ago, and it made you laugh and laugh and laugh. You’ve had a tough day and could use a good laugh, so you want to find it.
All you have to do is go to the Google and type the following into the search box:
You’ll get the following results and, looky there, the post we’re looking for is at the top of the page!
Or maybe you’re looking for man food ideas for your husband and seem to remember that Pioneer Woman talked about cowboy food.
Now you have all the man food recipes you could ever hope for!
Or maybe you’re more spiritually-minded and wonder if Beth Moore has some commentary suggestions.
Oh, happy day, she does, she does!
The key is to type in the words you’re searching for along with site:website.com/org/net. If you’re looking for a phrase, be sure to surround the phrase with quotes (as in the “cowboy food” example above).
