Putting out the welcome mat…

I would offer you something to drink, but the lady doing our grocery shopping has been slacking lately. She is so fired.

Wait. What? Oh yeah, that slacker is me! I haven’t made it to the grocery store in many a moon, but I’m claiming sick days because of the illness that has been sweeping through the Maddox household. So I’ve had to outsource fulfillment of our grocery needs to Papa John’s and Sonic. And Potbelly and Red Fish. And the donut shop across the highway.

Anyway, I’ve been working on this new blog for the last few weeks whenever I had a few minutes away from illness, grocery shopping, changing diapers, and other various and sundry chores.

So what do you think?!

And I’ll give you one shot to answer the following question: What’s my favorite color?

Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

I’ve been playing around with the design quite a bit and expect for that to continue. Unless someone can make my need to over-analyze disappear.

Seriously, I need help.

Please. make. it. stop.

  1. I know your favorite color green. What color did we paint most of your condo green I dreamed about green while helping you paint.

  2. Kristen, you have a great memory! My favorite color was green years ago, but now it’s RED. But don’t worry, I won’t be painting any rooms red…at least not in the near future!

  3. Can’t wait to read more of your postings in your new blog / web site! Your favorite color, as you stated is RED but more of a crimson (?), hence your beautiful backdrop for your site and the wonderful colors used for your wedding. Like your momma, you LOVE color….(why I love to play around with paints through my art)…..
Hope you are feeling well enough to write soon (and shop for your own groceries)

  4. Actually depending on the size of the room one painted a deep red is really pretty my sister’s kitchen is large with lot’s of window’s and she has it painted a deep brick red and it looks really good.
